Interaktiv GmbH

Interaktiv is the project coordinator for the ITONBOARD project. We were also the lead organization on the escape game development and contributor to all other project modules.

We are a full-service online agency based in Kerpen, near Cologne, Germany. From consulting, planning and strategy to the implementation and monitoring of the success of digital projects, our customers receive everything from a single source. Our core business areas are web and application development with open source technologies, mainly based on the Open Source Enterprise CMS Plone and on Python. We also offer web design, user experience consulting and online marketing.

Why we participated in ITONBOARD

The IT industry is characterized by rapid cycles of innovation and high growth rates. At the same time, a shortage of skilled talents is becoming increasingly noticeable. It is therefore in our own interest as well as in the interest of the IT industry in general to show young people career prospects in IT. In addition, we focus our efforts in open source software development on the education sector and provide gamified solutions for the future.

Our expectations for the project

The best project result would be for the final project evaluation to show that our project has been able to make a sustainable and positive contribution to the career orientation of young people.

We also expected to gain a lot of experience in working with partners from several countries, helping us to grow as people and as a company.

Project team

Most of Interaktiv’s 17 team members have been involved in the ITONBOARD project to some extent over the course of the project. The core project lead team consists of Lisa and Jörg for project management and dissemination.
