  • Univ. Prof. Dr. Bernd Gössling, who played an advisory role in our work on the guidelines.
  • Sybille Regensberger, Chairwoman of the UBIT professional group and representative of the Chamber of Commerce.
  • Dr. Domenico Rief LL.M., representing the Chamber of Labour.
  • Representatives from two remote companies in the EU area: Syslab, Munich and Kitconcept, Bonn.
  • Christine Baumgartner, project manager of Intellectual Output on the topic of "Blended Remote Internship" and representative of the Erasmus Plus programme ITONBOARD.

The discussion will be expertly moderated by Mr. Robert Niederreiter, Managing Director of r2 solutions GmbH in Innsbruck. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to hear from these leaders and gain valuable insights.

Remote work offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, but it can also lead to isolation and decreased ability to organize for employees.

Communication and collaboration occur virtually, which can enhance work relationships for some, but pose challenges for others. The focus of our discussion will be on onboarding in the virtual work world, exploring how companies can support their new hires and interns in this virtual environment, and prepare them for the unique challenges that come with it, such as adapted processes, training in the use of virtual tools, and promoting virtual team building activities.

The target audience for this event are IT professionals from Tyrol, Austria, and the EU region, as well as those interested in the virtual work world. Therefore, the discussion will be conducted in English.

ITONBOARD responded to the EU Commission's call to develop a program for the digital work and learning environment. With ITONBOARD, digital and analog onboarding tools for career orientation of young people in IT with a focus on web technology and open source were developed.

Under ITONBOARD, we explored questions such as how an internship in a remote work company could work: Blended Remote Internships in IT companies https://www.itonboard.eu/guideline.

We, Klein & Partner KG from Völs, were involved along with four other partners from Spain, Italy and Germany.
